During the 2016 Presidential Elections, I had a thought that I couldn’t get out of my head.
That thought was combining Bernie Sanders, someone who I still feel should have won, mashed together with Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty.
I re-illustrated the classic character to have more Bernie-like traits and added what I thought would sound like Rick as he would run for President as copy.
I didn’t think it would blow up the way it did. It took one little post on Bernie Sanders’ Dank Meme Stash. I never thought i’d make it in KnowYourMeme.com.
